Amex Business Platinum, 200K Bonus Offer Still Available by Phone

🔃 Update: Based on data points from our Facebook Group members Elliot and Nico, the 190K offer is still available by phone, with an extra 10K for adding an authorized user. Looks like this offer has the lifetime language, but you can ask them to email you the application so you can double check. The massive 260K offer is no longer available.

    • Earn 190,000 Membership Rewards Points after you spend $15,000 on your new Business Platinum Card within the first 3 months of Card Membership.
    • Plus earn 10,000 Membership Rewards Points after you add an Employee Card and spend an additional $1,000.
    • Annual Fee: $695

Amex Business Platinum 200K

Update: There’s now a direct link to this offer, and you can apply online. It’s probably best to still try an call so you know for sure that you are targeted. Amex has shut down accounts in the past for obtaining a welcome offer that was not intended for you. (HT: USCCG)

American Express has been handing out big bonuses recently especially for the Business Platinum and Business Gold cards. And just when we think that we have reached the upper limits with offers for 180K and 190K points, Amex surprises us with a 260,000 Membership Rewards points offer. Yes you read that right. You can actually call in and see if you are targeted, and it looks like there’s no lifetime language either. Check out the details of this huge offer below.

Offer

  • Earn 250,000 Membership Rewards Points after you spend $30,000 on your new Business Platinum Card within the first 6 months of Card Membership.
  • Plus earn 10,000 Membership Rewards Points after you add an Employee Card and spend an additional $1,000.
  • Annual Fee: $695
  • OFFER PAGE

This huge bonus for a total of 260K points is apparently being offered over the phone, similar to the 190K offer for the Business Gold card. It’s not a guarantee that you will get it, but at least now you can try. You can call Amex at 855-531-3491, decline the first offer, and request specifically the 250K (without the Employee Card) or 260K offer. Then apply over the phone, although you can ask them to send you the terms and finish the application online, as reported by Frequent Miler. This way you can make sure that there lifetime language is not included.

If you have no luck with this phone offer, you can check for this 150K bonus or some other options here for up to 190K.

Guru’s Wrap-up

This Amex Business Platinum 260K offer is by far the best we have ever seen. And you can call in to check if you are eligible. Just keep in mind that you need to spend $30,000 in the first 3 months, which is not easy to do. That’s a lot of spending, so make sure you are able to complete it before applying.

To make things better, it looks like this offer doesn’t have the lifetime language. So even if you have taken advantage of some of the recent big offers for Amex Business Platinum in recent months, you can apply and get another bonus. You need to wait at least 90 days from you last application though.

Let me know in the comments if you get this offer!

  1. […] DDG reports that the American Express Business Platinum 190,000 Membership Rewards sign up bonus after $15,000 in spend in three months is available by phone, and also includes a bonus 10,000 Membership Rewards for adding an employee card and spending $1,000 in the same timeframe. To check, dial American Express’s Small Business team at (855) 531-3491 and ask about different offers available, and note that they may not give you the best offer on the first try so keep asking if there are other offers available until you’ve exhausted the list. 3. Or… you can just keep going with 160K offers every 3 months spending $15k.

    1. One downside of that is that you are paying 2x$695 fees with 2 Biz Plat cards.
