American Airlines’ AAdvantage eShopping mall has a new bonus offer. This one is a mystery bonus, so you need to check your account to see what offer you get.

These are the offers I have seen so far:

• Earn 2,500 AAdvantage Bonus miles when you spend $500
• Earn 2,000 AAdvantage Bonus miles when you spend $500
• Earn 1,200 AAdvantage Bonus miles when you spend $300
• Earn 400 AAdvantage Bonus miles when you spend $100

Offer Terms

• Bonus campaign, which runs from 6/5/17 through 6/30/17 at 11:59:59 pm ET
• Bonus miles in addition to the standard AAdvantage miles earned from shopping online through the AAdvantage eShopping mall.
• Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

The two bonuses that I mentioned above work out to 4 or 5 extra AA miles per dollar if you do exactly the required spending. That’s on top of the regular rates that the AAdvantage eShopping mall pays out. That should probably give you a very good rate on lots of merchants, but still make sure you compare rates before purchasing.
